ingredients 1 1/2lb asparagus cut into 2” pieces 1 tbsp tamari soy 1 tsp asian sesame oil 2 tbsp minced green onion 1 tsp dried red chili flakes 1/2 tsp toasted sesame seeds
method Add asparagus to pot of boiling water. cook for 1-2 min till bright green; do not over cook. Drain, then immediately plunge into bowl of ice water. Let cool 2-3 min, drain again & pat dry with paper towel. Set aside. Whisk together tamari soy, sesame oil, green onion & chili flakes. Add asparagus & toss, garnish with toasted sesame seeds.
